Ed Shubeck collects two doubles and knocks in three runs for the winners while teammate Bob Roman adds a single, double and three RBIs. The Panthers, coached by Bob Gelatko, also receive a run-scoring hit from John Staivecki while Dave Stanko is credited with the pitching win.
