A Philadelphia-area man has been charged with driving under the influence from an incident in November in Mahoning Township.

On Nov. 1, Mahoning Township police stopped a vehicle on Route 209 traveling 53 mph in a 35 zone.A blood test showed the presence of Delta-9 THC and Delta-9 Carboxy THC.The driver, John Kelly, 28, of Yardley has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and exceeding the speed limit.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 1.
