State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash near a Schuylkill County raceway earlier Saturday morning.

Troopers said Lynn M. Becker, 36, of Pottsville, was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 truck eastbound on Route 4008 in Cass Township, at 4:36 a.m. near the Big Diamond raceway.She began to lose control on the slippery road with the truck traveling through the westbound lane and off the north shoulder where it struck several trees with its front end. The truck came to rest off the north shoulder in trees facing northwest. Becker was not injured.The truck sustained severe damages to the front end and it had to be towed. Troopers cited Becker for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
