Sunday worship with Holy Communion and distribution of palm fronds at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 9 a.m. Guest pastor the Rev. Glenn Simmons presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Sunday church school students ages 3 through grade 12 meet at 10:30 a.m. for the annual palm procession around the block, weather permitting. There will be no Sunday school classes April 5. Classes resume April 12.Designated pastor the Rev. Nancy Moore presides at Maundy Thursday, April 2, with Holy Communion at 7 p.m., and April 3, Good Friday Tenebrae worship at 7 p.m. The Rev. Moore presides at April 5 Easter worship with Holy Communion at 8 and 10 a.m.Fifth-grade students who attend three instructional sessions will be given Holy Communion during the Maundy Thursday worship service.
