A Kunkletown man was found to be under the influence following a traffic stop Thursday.

State police at Lehighton said that at 7:46 p.m., a 33-year-old male was stopped at Doney Road at Weir Lake Road in Ross Township for vehicle code violations.It was determined the driver was under the influence and was requested to submit to a chemical test.He was then transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for a blood draw.Charges are pending blood results.
