A Palmerton man sustained moderate injuries following a one-car crash early Sunday morning in Lower Towamensing Township.
State police at Lehighton said the crash occurred at 1:45 a.m. as a 2006 Ford F-series operated by Bryan P. Braker, 21, was traveling north on Forest Inn Road when he lost control of his vehicle.The vehicle then traveled northeast, off the east shoulder of Forest Inn Road, and the front of the vehicle struck the utility pole.The vehicle then spun about 180 degrees clockwise, and rolled onto its driver's side, as Braker was thrown from the vehicle.The vehicle then traveled north about 150 feet along the east shoulder, before it came to final rest on its driver's side, facing south, on the east shoulder of Forest Inn Road.Braker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.He will be cited for driving vehicle at an unsafe speed.
