An undetermined number of residents in West Penn township were without power Wednesday afternoon when a large tree fell across Blue Mountain road. The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. with the tree taking out most of the utility lines fell across the roadway. Members of the West Penn Fire Co. No. 1 blocked off the road. One local resident told fire fighters she had notified P. P. & L. who had given her an estimated time of arrival at 9 p.m. No injuries were reported in the incident.
