Coaldale Police have cited George Michael Dougherty, 23, of 11 W. High St., Coaldale, following an incident on March 9.

Officers were dispatched to 11 W. High St. at 6:39 p.m. for a possible drug overdose. They found Dougherty on a couch in the basement, unresponsive. An uncapped hypodermic needle, a needle cap and a white lighter were found on or near the couch.Dougherty was transported to St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus in the Lehighton Ambulance.He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
