Ranger Rick Club to meet at Environmental Education Center

The monthly meeting of the Ranger Rick Club will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center. The Club is open to all students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

"Super Scientists" is the topic for this month's meeting, and children will learn about the scientific method before performing some simple experiments.The program is free for CCEEC members, and a nominal donation is requested of non-members.For more information or to register, call 570-645-8597.CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside Jim Thorpe, along the Lentz Trail Highway.Parents are reminded to avoid driving through Jim Thorpe on their way to this meeting, as the St. Patrick's Day Parade will be underway at this time.Call 570-645-8597 for details on alternative routes if needed.
