A traffic stop Wednesday in Mahoning Township has led to the arrest of a wanted person.
Mahoning Township Police stopped a vehicle at 2:32 p.m. along Route 443 at the Carbon Plaza Mall.
The vehicle had a fraudulent registration plate, and an expired inspection.
Officers found the vehicle belonged to a resident of Philadelphia.
The registration plate belonged to a resident of Allentown, and the driver, Anthony Carrasquillo, 38, of Allentown, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a Lehigh County probation violation.
A state police narcotics dog was called to check the car.
No controlled substances were detected.
Carrasquillo was cited for the traffic violations, and placed in Carbon County Prison on the warrant.
