A Tamaqua driver was involved in a rear-end crash in Lehigh County on March 5 at 4:53 p.m.

Upper Macungie Township police said Jermaine Davis, 41, of Cherry Street, Tamaqua, driving a 2006 Nissan Altima, and Jaekwon Chung, 33, of Smith Hill Road, Slatington, driving a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 truck, were both southbound on Route 100, just north of the Tilghman Street intersection.Chung slowed due to a traffic light turning red. Davis failed to stop in time with the front of his Nissan striking the rear of the Dodge.No one was injured. Damages were heavy to the front of the Nissan and minor to the rear of the Dodge. The Nissan had to be towed, but the Dodge was driven from the scene.
