State police at Hazleton are investigating a criminal attempt-theft and theft incidents occurring in Carbon County.

Troopers said unknown criminals attempted to gain entry to a camper owned by Master Mechanical Corporation, and located along Banks Avenue in Banks Township, by smashing out a side window. No entry was made.The criminals did enter two unlocked vehicles owned by Full Service Vending and stole fuel cards. The vehicles were located in the area of the camper.The incidents occurred on Feb. 8.
