Nesquehoning police issued over 40 tickets related to snow ban parking regulations this month, and warn owners of the vehicles that were illegally parked that citations will be issued to those who fail to pay their ticket.

Police said of the 24 tickets that were written on Feb. 2, about half of them have been paid. Those remaining delinquent after Feb. 26 will receive citations, police said.Officers also issued 17 more tickets on Feb. 22.Residents are reminded they are required to follow the snow ban signs in their neighborhoods and to move their vehicles accordingly.
