Three-vehicle crash in Monroe

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a three-vehicle crash on a Monroe County road on Saturday. It was one of two crashes investigated that day by troopers.

Troopers said David L. Titus, 80, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup when he attempted to turn onto Route 209 while exiting the McDonald's restaurant lot in Chestnuthill Township at 8:20 a.m.He pulled into the path of a 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup driven southbound by Sun H. Chin, 52, of Blakeslee. The front of the Tundra struck the right bumper area of the Dodge. After impact the Dodge was pushed into a 1999 Subaru Legacy driven by Trinity C. Baines, 38, of Kunkletown.No one was injured. Troopers cited Titus for vehicle turning left.The second crash occurred at 12:11 p.m. at the intersection of Route 903 and Towamensing Trails in Penn Forest Township.Troopers said Anthony P. Hentz, 49, of Wrightstown, Bucks County, driving a 2006 Nissan Titan, was slowed for traffic on 903 while Brandon M. Grammes, 23, of Albrightsville, driving a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, failed to slow down, with the front of his vehicle hitting the rear of Hentz's vehicle.No one was injured. Troopers cited Grammes for following too closely.
