Cabela's site for Captain's Weekend

A reminder that spring is on its way is the Cabela's Hamburg annual Captain's Weekend that provides hope that the end of the hard, cold winter is near and that the thaw is beginning. This year's event is Saturday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 1, with seminars beginning at 10 a.m. both days.

Captain's Weekend attracts many experienced and new anglers and hunters, as it is part of Cabela's Spring Fever event focusing on spring fishing and hunting activities. In addition to the free seminars, guides and charter captains will be in attendance.Participating in the event is Schuylkill County Chapter of Trout Unlimited, which will present its free fly tying classes for beginners, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., both days.
