A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday along Main Street in the village of Nuremberg, North Union Township.

State police at Frackville said William R. Schlauch, 56, of Zion Grove, struck a parked vehicle with his vehicle. Troopers said he was found to be under the influence and submitted to a breath test at the barracks, which showed him over the legal limit.Drunken driving and summary motor vehicle code violations were filed against Schlauch, troopers added.
