A Coaldale man fell asleep behind the wheel of his 2006 Dodge Caravan on Valentine's Day, crashing into a stone wall on the Hometown Hill (Claremont Avenue) property in Rush Township.

Brandon Bennyhoff, 24, was traveling north at 7:23 a.m. when he nodded off. The van crossed over into the southbound lane, struck the wall, then careened back into the northbound lane, where it struck an embankment.The vehicle had heavy front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene. Bennyhoff was not injured.
