A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred about 5 p.m. on Feb. 4.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to Ryan Road in Tunkhannock Township for a report of a theft from vehicle incident.On scene the officers spoke with the victim who said a family friend, Odane Spence of Albrightsville, came to her home demanding money he thought he was owed. The victim told Spence to leave the property.As Spence was leaving, the victim said, he entered her unlocked car and removed a $20 bill. Spence then drove away. Police spoke with a gate officer from Indian Mountain Lakes community who saw Spence driving into the community a short time after the incident.A check revealed Spence has a suspended license. Police said Spence has been charged with driving under suspension, theft, and disorderly conduct.
