Tamaqua Borough work crews will continue removing snow banks from the streets tonight. Operations will begin at 9 p.m.

The following streets are scheduled for removal tonight: south side of Broad, from tracks near Turkey Hill east to former Maff Motors; Hunter, Broad to Orwigsburg.On Wednesday, the following streets will be cleared: north side of Broad, from railroad tracks near Turkey Hill east to former CVS; Penn, Coal to Hunter.Thursday's schedule will include: Pine, both sides from Mauch Chunk north to 309 bridgeStreets will be posted one day in advance. Any vehicle not moved before 9 p.m. will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.Schedules are subject to change depending on work schedules and weather conditions.
