Wayne R. Stump, 43, of Hazleton, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:40 a.m. Jan. 30 on Route 924 in East Union Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said he was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer south when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a right curve in the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment on the west shoulder and overturned onto its roof, before sliding about 80 feet where it came to rest on its roof facing west.Police said the operator was able to crawl out of the vehicle.The vehicle sustained major damages and was towed from the scene.Police said Stump was cited for the crash.
