Antonia N. Oxenrider, 19, of Muir, was charged by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks with failure to drive at a safe speed, following a one-vehicle crash at 9:25 p.m. Jan. 29 on Frand Avenue in Porter Township.

Police said she was driving a 2002 Dodge Dakota northbound when it entered an uphill left curve in the roadway and started to slide on the snow-covered roadway.The vehicle continued northbound on the shoulder of the road, struck a PennDOT traffic sign, spun 180 degrees and came to rest down an embankment.
