No one was injured during a two-car crash Sunday in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incident took place at 11:45 p.m. on Route 940, north of Warner Drive.The crash occurred as a 2012 International Harvester Work Star operated by Christopher P. Gearl, 38, of Effort, was stopped in the right travel lane facing east, dumping salt to the rear of the truck, when a 2009 Subaru Legacy operated by Joseph L. Vaillant, 30, of Pocono Lake, struck the truck from the rear.Vaillant attempted to stop but was unable to come to a complete stop due to the snowy road conditions. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the incident.No charges were filed.
