A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Luzerne County.

State police at Hazleton said Jennifer M. Smell, 33, of Coaldale, was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion northbound on Interstate 81 in Hazle Township, exiting at Exit 141. She lost control of her car and it slid into a legally parked 2015 Kenworth tractor with trailer, then went down an embankment. The rig was operated by Ernest L. Mee, 60, of Oak Hill, Florida. No one was injured.
