State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a hit-and-run crash that took place between 10:30 p.m. Jan. 29 and 1:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

Police said a vehicle was northbound on Route 125 in Tremont Borough when it traveled out of control in the area of Behm's Restaurant, sliding into a concrete and block garage owned by Christopher Carl, 41, of Tremont. Police said the operator failed to provide insurance and operator information to the victim.The vehicle is described as being dark green metallic, possibly a late '90s model Subaru Legacy.
