Cristo Farmakis, 34, of the 200 block of Center Street, Lehighton, is facing charges of public drunkenness and allowing his dog to run loose, as the result of an incident at 10:09 p.m. Jan. 27 in Breinigsville.

Upper Macungie Township Police said they responded for a disturbance involving an intoxicated male and his dog that was running around the neighborhood. Upon arrival, a 48-year-old female who lives in that block reported to police that the male was outside with his dog when he let it off the collar.She said the dog ran toward the victim and her dog on her property and then began to shout profanities at her while standing in the middle of the street in an intoxicated state.
