State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 6 p.m. Jan. 28 and 4 p.m. Jan. 29 at a residence in the Village of Sheppton.

Police said someone forced open a garage door at the location and removed a water heater before forcing open a back door to the home and removing copper pipe and PEX tubing.The residence is on West Pine Street in East Union Township.
