A Carbon County man has been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred when John F. Topito, 44, of White Haven, pulled over to use his cellphone at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 along Route 940 at Harmony Beverage in Kidder Township.
