A 1977 Corvette L82 and several brass statues were stolen from a Polk Township home sometime between Dec. 1, 2014, and Jan. 22.

State police at Lehighton said the car is black with a classic license plate L8277. The statues are of a horse, an eagle, and a diver's helmet with a clock.The burglars forced their way in through a garage door of the Watercrest Avenue, Effort, home and ransacked it, police said.Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at 610-681-1850.
