A railroad crossing was damaged in a one-vehicle crash in Rush Township on Jan. 27.

Rush Township Police report that a 16-year-old male from Lehighton was traveling east on Fairview Street at 7:59 p.m. when he lost control of the Kia he was driving. The car struck a railroad crossing pole, knocking it to the ground.The teen was not injured, but the Kia had to be towed from the scene.
