Tables turned on Tamaqua man

A Tamaqua man who complained to police that he was being harassed by communication found himself being cited on Friday.

William Hill, 33, of South Greenwood Street, visited the police station at 11 a.m. to report getting harassing phone calls from a man. He was advised not to accept the calls, not to call the man and to keep track of the calls.A very short time later, a woman who is the registered owner of the man's cellphone, complained that Hill was repeatedly calling and threatening the man. She was advised of Hill's complaint and given the same advice.At 12:59 p.m. the woman was back at the station with a list of calls Hill made after he spoke with officers at 11 a.m. There were four calls made from phones associated with Hill between 11:10 and 11:27 a.m.Hill was charged with harassment by communication and disorderly conduct.
