Three Schuylkill County residents have been cited for theft of leased property and receiving stolen property.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the three rented items from the Rent-A-Center at the Pottsville Park Plaza, located off Route 61 in Norwegian Township, and stopped paying the rental fee and never returned the item.Cited were Michael Corso of Pottsville, who rented a Samsung Note 3 phone on Oct. 23, 2014, and stopped making payments and did not return the phone; Charles Searless II of Pottsville, who rented a Samsung 40-inch LCD television and an Xbox 360 video game system on March 29, 2014, and stopped making payments and never returned the items; and Ronald Wilson III of Pottsville, who rented a Samsung S5 phone on Oct 17, 2014, and stopped making payments and never returned the item.Charges were filed with District Judge David A. Plachko of Port Carbon.
