A Schuylkill County man has been cited for disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred at 6:50 a.m. on Tuesday in the borough of Girardville.

State police at Frackville said troopers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Main Street for a report of a man causing a disturbance by screaming in the street and using obscene language.On scene troopers found James C. Palestis, 47, of Girardville, in a intoxicated condition. He was arrested and taken to his residence. Charges were filed with District Judge Christina Hale of Frackville.
