Icy road conditions were blamed for a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday along Route 61 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Stephen C. Domaratzky, 18, of Pottsville, was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram truck northbound when it began to slide on the ice and went off the road. The truck hit a drainage culvert and came to rest.Domaratzky was not injured but the truck had to be towed from the scene.
