State police at Lehighton said Shelly Darlene Ackerman, 40, and Joshua Richard Ackerman, 17, both of 140 Stoney Creek Road, in Penn Forest Township, engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical with both shoving and striking each other, resulting in minor injuries to both of them. The incident occurred at 6:12 p.m. on Wednesday.Both were cited for harassment, troopers said.
