Palmerton Area School Board on Tuesday unanimously accepted the resignation of Ryan McGrath from his positions as assistant track and field coach, as well as assistant football coach, effective Jan. 7.

The board also approved the following for the 2014-15 school year:- Austin Cseh as a volunteer track coach- Trevor Bartholomew as a volunteer wrestling coach- Bronwyn Green as an assistant track coach for the 2015 season at the stipend of $2,577. This is the position that was vacated by Ryan McGrath.The board also approved the following coaches for the 2015-16 fall sports season:- Jeff Minnich, cross country, $2,974- Kurt Eckhart, cross country, $991- Tammy Muniz, field hockey, head coach, $3,965- Tricia McElmoyle, field hockey, assistant coach, $2,603- Tara Frantz, field hockey, junior high school coach, $2,603- Chris Walkowiak, football, head coach, $6,029- Mike Falcone, football, assistant coach, $3,947- Justin Petersen, football, assistant coach, $3,947- Drew Cortright, football, half salary junior high coach, $1,974- Avery Weber, football, half salary junior high coach, $1,974- Ryan Sharkazy, boys soccer, $3,965- James Bunting, volunteer coach- Nate Petrosky, girls soccer, head coach, $3,965- Brooke Horn, girls soccer, assistant coach, $2,603- On an 8-0- vote, with one abstention, Fred Lesher, football, assistant coach, $3,947. Director Barry Scherer abstained.- On an 8-0 vote, with one abstention, Brian Recker, football, volunteer coach. Board President Tammy Recker abstained.
