Snow on Saturday?

No one really knows yet. Some meteorologists are flirting with the idea of a major winter storm this weekend that could drop nearly a foot of white stuff over the Northeast, but nothing is definite.A major system is being tracked as it moves up the coast from the south and west but weather models are pushing the track farther east, meaning areas around Philadelphia may be hit harder than the Times News coverage area.According to AccuWeather, periods of snow will start early Saturday morning that could bring 1 to 3 inches, with the possibility of a major winter storm. The National Weather Service adds that snow may start late Friday night before snow becomes steadier Saturday morning and changes over to rain and snow possible in the afternoon, with snow totaling 3 inches or less. The Weather Channel forecasts that light snow is possible with little to 1 inch accumulation.Check tnonline.com for the latest weather updates and remember to upload your snow photos to our website.
