State police at Lehighton reported the arrest of a person for an attempted burglary.

Troopers said at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday a 41-year-old female, who resides in the 100 block of Karaman Lane, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported that Kaitlyn Marie Karaman, 23, no address given, attempted to break into her home.Karaman was arrested and charged with attempted burglary. Troopers said she was arraigned before a district judge on the charge.
