State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two thefts and one criminal mischief incident. One theft incident involved valuable jewelry.

The victim, who lives on Starlight Drive in Effort, reported someone stole several pieces of jewelry from her residence. The jewelry is valued at $11,150. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 7 and Dec. 15, 2014, but was not reported by troopers until now.Troopers said the criminal mischief incident occurred at the Getz building at 1295 Route 534 in Penn Forest Township. Someone cut the copper lines to two air conditioners at that location. The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 14 and Saturday.Troopers said two air conditioner units were removed from the rear of the same building sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
