State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said criminals made entry to The Beer Shak, located at 2881 Pottsville/Minersville highway, in Branch Township. A blunt object was used to shatter the tempered glass window of a rear door to gain entry.Once inside the criminals approached a counter where several documents and seven instant lottery tickets were removed. The incident was reported at 11:41 p.m. on Tuesday.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
