The weather forecast has forced the postponement of the following athletic events for today:

Blue Mountain at Tamaqua wrestling is moved to Feb. 5; Lehighton at Pine Grove boys basketball is moved to Jan. 26 and Tri-Valley wrestling at home will be Feb. 9; Marian at Lourdes boys basketball is off with no new date; Northern Lehigh at Wilson wrestling is now Jan. 23; Panther Valley at No. Schuylkill wrestling is off with no new date; Palmerton at Salisb ury wrestling to now Jan. 22; Pleasant Valley at Stroudsburg wrestling is now Jan. 22; Jim Thorpe at Mahanoy Area wrestling is now Feb. 13; Northwestern at No. Dame GP wrestling is off until Jan. 23.

In other schedule changes, the Palmerton at Saucon Valley wrestling match, originally scheduled for Saturday, will be wrestled on Friday night, Jan. 23 at Catasauqua following the match between the Panthers and Roughies that starts at 4 p.m. In another change, the Panther Valley at Jim Thorpe girls basketball game scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Friday night and will be part of a girls-boys doubleheader between the Panthers and Olympians with the girls game set for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
