Expert to speak on pipeline

PennEast Pipeline Co. plans to construct a 108-mile, 36-inch diameter pipeline to carry unrefined natural gas from Luzerne County to Mercer County, New Jersey that will cross through Carbon County.

On Jan. 27, The Democrats for Change will provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed PennEast pipeline and the implications for Carbon County.An expert from The Delaware Riverkeeper is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. at the FLOW Restaurant at 268 W.
