A Tamaqua woman righted a wrong at a preliminary hearing before District Judge Stephen Bayer of Tamaqua, on Dec. 16.

Tina Marie Hosier, 29, of 30 Hunter St., was in district court for a hearing for Brian Filer, 47, of 31 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua. Filer was in court to face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident on Nov. 4, 2014.Instead, the charges against Filer were dropped when Hosier admitted the paraphernalia, a homemade aluminum bowl, was actually hers.She was then charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
