It is a free service that allows victims to sign up to receive notifications as soon as the person who caused them harm is placed in prison. Before the program, Carbon County prison administration notified victims when an inmate was moved or released. In other matters, the board amended its commissary policy for indigent inmates who have items at the facility upon their release.Under the amendment, they have 10 days to collect their items from the prison following their release. After that period is over, the items will be discarded. In the past, the prison said that the people have 30 days to collect their items.
