Residents of The Pines at West Penn Mobile Home Park, located on Route 895, no longer have to fear a possible court-ordered eviction.

Schuylkill County Judge John Domalakes approved the eviction notices during a November contempt hearing for the park's developer, James E. Saunders of Kempton, who is embroiled in a dispute with township authorities over building and occupancy permits.The West Penn Township Board of Supervisors granted the required permits to the individual residents, reserving the right to continue its lawsuit against Saunders and his development company, Maiden Creek Associates.
