Tamaqua police have cited Delores Perez, 64, with public drunkenness following a call on Jan. 7.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Race and Green streets at noon for a report of a male lying in the street. When police arrived, they found Perez in a highly intoxicated state, unable to walk or speak.His caregiver, Michael Bravo, of 303 Penn St., was contacted and took him home.
