State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the attempted burglary at a Schuylkill County storage facility.

Troopers said the incident occurred at Derfler Self Storage, owned by Robert Derfler, 46, of Pine Grove, and located at 14 Tremont Road, in Pine Grove Township.Unknown criminals entered onto the property and attempted to break into six storage units at the site. They used an unknown type object in an attempt to pry open the door latches.The incident occurred sometime between Saturday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 8:30 a.m.
