State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a utility trailer from a Schuylkill County site.

Troopers said a black 6-by-12-foot 2005 U.S. Cargo utility trailer was removed from a parking lot at 193 Tremont Road in Pine Grove Township sometime between Jan. 3 and 6.Troopers said the trailer bears state registration plate number XBK-7085 and is valued at $1,400. The trailer has plywood on all four sides, extending two feet upward from the deck. There are also two strips of plywood on the rear gate/ramp and a tire in the middle of the ramp.Troopers are also investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred at Lefty's Lockers, located at 820 Route 183 South, in Wayne Township.Criminals entered the fenced-in area above and damaged the doors on several RVs that were parked there and rummaged through them. It is unknown if anything was taken from the RVs.The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 1 and Sunday.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
