A 17-year-old Barnesville girl will be cited for traffic violations after crashing her 2007 Kia Spectra on snow-covered Route 54 in Ryan Township.

State police at Frackville said the girl, whose name was not released, wasn't hurt in the crash, which happened at 7:20 a.m. Friday near the Lakeside Ballroom.Police said the girl lost traction on the snow-covered road and hit a utility pole. She will be charged under the vehicle code.
