Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved the renewal a $99,163 software support agreement with a Florida company for support of a 911 center system that was installed in 2002.

The bill can be paid in three installments: two payments of $33,000 and one of $33,163, from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.Commissioners also approved the completed copy of the county certification of funds form for the farmland preservation program.The form is required to be completed and signed by the commissioners each year to confirm the amount of funds being allocated for easement purchases by the Conservation District.In other matters, commissioners approved an extension of the contract with the Larson Design Group for construction engineering and inspection services for county bridge 113, on Newswanger Road in Washington Township, until July 31. The current expiration date is Jan. 12.Commissioners also appointed Michael Vigoda of Pottsville to the planning commission for four years.
