The Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board has cited a Carbon County business for violating the state liquor code.

Jenny's Tavern Inc., 1 W. Oak St., Tresckow, Banks Township, was cited for the periods of Sept. 2, 6, 8, 13, 15 and 16, 2014, for operating their licensed establishment without a valid health permit of license, which expired Aug. 31.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones.In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
